International Adventure Sport Management
International Adventure Sport Management is an exciting new specialization in the Master of Arts Sport Management degree program. Starting in fall 2013 the University of Applied Management (Germany) and Thompson Rivers University (Canada) will offer a new innovative program in the field of Sport Management at the graduate level (Master of Arts):
"International Adventure Sport Management"
The program aims at preparing future leaders in the field of adventure and outdoor sports within international contexts. In a cooperative mode of delivery, TRU and UAM experts come together with students at campus locations in Canada and Germany providing a truly unique educational experience in adventure management. The program brings together industry experts with real world experience, and is designed to provide students with the ability to develop a comprehensive and critical understanding of contemporary adventure sport, leisure and lifestyle concepts, trends, needs, opportunities and challenges from an advanced leadership and management perspective.
